PUBLICATIONS

This book is devoted to Raphaël Ponson (1835-1904), an emblematic artist of en of 19th century provencal painter. He goes to Beaux-Arts school in Marseilles, where he is taught by Emile Loubon who make him discover outside painting. The artist worked a lot in South of France, especially inspired by maritime landscapes. Rocks, barques, fishermen, waves, always painted with a lot of aptness in light and colors. Recognized artist, he participated to many fairs and exhibitions in his time.
